More than Friends

Wondering where you have been all my life?
You're not Mr. Right but you're as close
as I think I'll get to meeting him.
I have met a lot of guys but I
always come back to you. I don't know
why I feel the way I do but I
think we are more than friends.
It's hard to explain to you
how I feel because I only
seem like a friend to you; but
you are more than a friend to me.
Only a friend to you but you're more than that
to me. I can't seem to show you what
I mean because I'm not given the chance.
But you care for me and I'm so
grateful for that. Even when I didn't know it you
had me in mind. And now you are still more than
a friend to me even though you destroyed
a piece of my heart. I'm still sitting here waiting
because I'm a stubborn German girl.
